Oct. 24 WELCOME BACK!!
It is the year 4075, and archeologists are studying artifacts from your house that have been buried for thousands of years to find out about how you lived. What kind of religious artifacts of yours will they find? Special books of scripture? Significant rings or jewelry? Artwork or statues of your favorite religious hero/saint? What do those artifacts mean to you? What might the archeologists interpret them to mean? Write about it in your TAJ.

Take a magazine from the front of the room and turn to the first page, called "The Gift of the Nile." Read that section and write down 5 things that you learned, using complete sentences, in your TAJ. When you're done, feel free to browse the rest of the pages and read about the topics you are interested in!

Oct. 14
Take a blue "Help Wanted" sheet from the front of the room and study it for a minute. Which job would suit you the best? Maybe none of those four listed would be a good fit. Maybe you'd rather be the Queen's makeup artist, or a palace musician, or a tomb painter. Maybe you'd want to entertain crowds by playing sports, or work along the Nile, or be a professional fisherman.
Write a response about your dream Egyptian job on the BACK OF THE BLUE SHEET. Title it "My Dream Egyptian Job".
